About Us and Our Shih-tzu Family

Dale has been raising Shih-tzu pups and bringing joy to many families for 19 years.  I, on the other hand have managed to bring pleasure to others  for ten years.   Well, when I was introduced to Dale, I was also introduced to an instant family of Shih-tzu.  Little did I know then that they would become the center of my life.  I can remember the first time I helped birth a puppy.  It was a frightening experience; but a rewarding one.  I had no idea that these little fuzzy creatures also need help in their world of labor.  My best friend also happens to be my closest companion; Isis.  She knows me inside and out and is constantly by my side for support.  I had been raised around larger breeds of dogs and I can attest that these little guys make such wonderful companions for your family and children. 

This breed of dog has truly been "The Light of Our Lives" for years.  Hopefully, you will make a decision to have a fuzzyexpressions puppy become "The Light In Your Lives".

Our female Shih-tzu from conception are put on a special diet for happy and healthy puppies.  In the second month, they are segregated from the rest of the Shih-tzu and placed in the nursery area awaiting the arrival of their litter. 

Once the litter has arrived, they are kept warm in their area; along with a lavender scented herb mat for a wonderful and cozy atmosphere.  It also helps relax Mom and puppies. 

Mom tends to her litter in her own regulated environment and the pups are weaned between 5 and 6 weeks of age.  They are taken to the Vet to receive a thorough examination, first shots and deworming.  They are adopted after 7 weeks to become "The Light of Your Families Lives".
